AtlantiCare
The Situation
AtlantiCare, the largest healthcare Provider in New Jersey with 60+ locations, wanted to reposition their brand online to address all of the services AtlantiCare offers its community. Information was difficult to find on the Web site and third-party content was not well integrated into the site (limiting its usefulness and value). In addition, AtlantiCare was looking to reduce the costs of maintaining their Web site by creating the new site in PHP so internal staff could easily make programming changes.
The Solution
Acsys Healthcare began with core concept for each audience type and worked with AtlantiCare to develop a new Web site architecture that organized content into more intuitive categories for each audience. To better cater to the needs of patients/prospective patients, Acsys Healthcare redesigned AtlantiCare’s Centers of Excellence pages to more clearly feature the benefits and value offered. Acsys Healthcare also implemented several SiteManager tools as Web services to display events (CMS) and aid in the recruitment of staff and nurses (HRS).
The Results
- Brand perception was evaluated much higher by local community.
- The new site generated a significant increase in repeat Web site traffic.
- Maintenance costs were reduced by implementing code that AtlantiCare staff could easily alter.
